Dance is more than connecting movement with music and rhythm, but also involves networking with other creative movers and studios. Allen, an alumnus of James Campbell High School, and JR, an alumnus of Kapaʻa High School and invited member of the Hoodlums from McKinley High School, have both made connections throughout the Hawaiʻi dance community in efforts to both learn and share knowledge of dance. From last year’s Honozulu Alumni Varsity and Mega Divisions First Place winners, they now take this opportunity to collaborate and JXA (jigsaw) a piece together to unite their passion for dance.
